Spending your holidays in the Conero Riviera means immersing yourself in an incomparable landscape, with unspoiled natural views, small beaches and comfortable equipped coasts. With the summer season now right behind the corner, the towns of Sirolo and Numana are getting ready to offer visitors numerous and varied leisure and entertainment initiatives.
Sirolo
The key events, especially music and entertainment, will take place in August in the setting of the Parco della Repubblica. Saturday 5 evening dedicated to comedy with Giuseppe Giacobazzi, Paolo Cevoli and Duilio Pizzocchi who will stage their warhorses. Saturday 12 will be the turn of music with the stage of “The Hits Tour” by Angelo Branduardi, one of the most important Italian songwriters. Saturday 19 a dive into the history of world rock with Creedence Clearwater Revived accompanied by the “legendary” Johnny Guitar Williamson, who will perform a lineup dedicated to Creedence Clearwater Revival and J. Fogerty.
Numana
On June 17, Piazza Miramare will host “Numana is a sea of sport”, with free sports activities (football, basketball, sup, kayak), dances and DJ sets. On June 27 in Piazza Nuova Cesare Catà will be the main character of the lesson-show “The eternal return of heroes”, while on July 8 the “Smile Numana” exhibition will kick off, with exponents of Italian comedy such as Valentina Persia, Pino & the antibodies, Piero Massimo Macchini and the Comedy Ring artists led by Beppe Braida.
Tours and hikes
For nature and trekking enthusiasts, there are so many opportunities to admire thanks to the organization of Marche Active Tourism, Risorse Cooperativa and Balaclava Trekking. Saturday 10th June (with repeats on 13-15-20-22-27-29) we go “From Sirolo to Passo del Lupo”, an itinerary that from the small square in the center winds through paths used by quarrymen and climbs up to Passo della Croce to admire one of the wildest views of the Conero, overlooking the sea and the Due Sorelle. Friday 16th June (with repeats on 19 – 23 – 26 – 30) it will be possible to participate in “Monte Conero at sunset”, an easy and pleasant ring walk, immersing yourself in the charm of the Mediterranean scrub to reach the panoramic points of Pian di Raggetti and Pian Grande and enjoy the spectacle of the sun going down behind the hills from the North Belvedere.
