The green promontory overlooking the Adriatic has become an icon. But Mount Conero and its riviera are much more than just a symbol for Marche tourism. The pristine beauty of the area is both a starting point and a destination for diverse itineraries ranging from nature to culture, from the pastel hues of the hills to the crystalline blue of the sea. The coastal territory stretches from the port of Ancona to that of Numana, featuring inlets, rocky or pebbly beaches, and corners of unparalleled natural value.
Starting from the regional capital with its characteristic caves, you pass through Portonovo, an authentic pearl with an emerald sea and architectural jewels such as the Church of Santa Maria and the Clementine Tower. Crossing Mount Conero, you encounter Sirolo, a delightful village perched over the sea, then Numana, with its tourist port and the State Antiquarium, before reaching Marcelli and the comforts offered by its bathing facilities.
Moving away from the coast, you head to Camerano, famous for its mysterious underground labyrinth. On the nearby hill stands the Marian Sanctuary of Loreto. The journey continues to the accordion capital, Castelfidardo, where you can visit the international museum dedicated to the instrument, until reaching Osimo to admire its Imperial-era treasures housed in the Town Hall.
