The Blue Flags continue to fly at the foot of Mount Conero

Sirolo, Numana and Portonovo are confirmed as Blue Flag destinations for 2023 as well. The Riviera del Conero is now a consolidated exclusive tourist landing place and best represents the culture of hospitality in the Marche. Aware of operating in a territory of absolute excellence, the fued team is ready to do its part and has already begun to intensify its work pace in view of the upcoming summer season: «Bookings are numerous and proceeding quickly. – the Sirolo-based agency reports – This year too, the trend of last-minute booking during the low season is reaffirmed, with the weather now playing a major role. High-season stays, on the other hand, are secured by tourists as early as the winter months, with mainly weekly and bi-weekly bookings.» In both cases, by far the most popular solutions are properties overlooking the sea, and in a landscape context like that of Conero, it is no surprise that this is the case.

Clean sea, well-kept, safe beaches equipped with high-quality comforts: these are the characteristics that make the level of the seaside offer competitive and increasingly high for those who choose to spend their holidays in the Marche. The Blue Flag has been awarded for 37 years by the Fee (Foundation for Environmental Education) to European coastal resorts that satisfy certain criteria regarding bathing water parameters and the service offered. This year, thanks to the recognition given to Porto San Giorgio, the number of flags has even risen to 18, a sign of a growing sector trend for the region.
