Senigallia
It counts monuments such as the Palazzetto Baviera, the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie and the Palazzo Mastai Ferretti, with the museum dedicated to Pope Pius IX who was born in this city. The historic center is lively, full of clubs and restaurants with quality food and wine proposals. It is famous for its velvet beach and for the great variety of services offered by its numerous bathing establishments.
Corinaldo
It preserves one of the most spectacular walls in the Marche region and a historic center of great environmental value. The walls are still equipped with gates, defense towers and bastions. It is possible to admire its entire development along the ring road and sections of the ancient patrol path.
Jesi
Birthplace of Frederick II of Swabia and of the musician Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, it boasts a historic center surrounded by medieval walls that are still intact, with medieval quarters, churches and noble palaces. Palazzo Pianetti, seat of the Civic Art Gallery, is distinguished by the splendid Galleria degli Stucchi, one of the greatest examples of rococo in central Italy, and by the presence of one of Lorenzo Lotto’s masterpieces, the Altarpiece of S. Lucia. Another civil monument not to be missed is the Palazzo della Signoria, built by Francesco di Giorgio Martini.
Frasassi caves
Among the most important karst complexes in Europe and among the most extraordinary tourist attractions in the Region, the site is located within the regional natural park of Gola della Rossa and Frasassi. Thanks to the natural sculptures created by the calcareous stratifications over millions of years, the incessant work of water and rock, the caves offer the visitor a spectacular underground journey.
