The green promontory on the Adriatic is now an icon. But Mount Conero and its riviera are much more than a symbol for tourism in the Marche. The unspoilt beauty of the area is a point of departure and arrival of different itineraries ranging from nature and culture, from the pastel colors of the hills to the crystal blue sea. The coastal area winds from the port of Ancona to that of Numana, between creeks, rocky or stony beaches, corners of unparalleled natural value.
Starting from the capital with its characteristic caves, you pass through Portonovo, an authentic pearl from the emerald sea and architectural jewels such as the church of Santa Maria and the Clementina tower. Crossing the Monte Conero you meet Sirolo, a delightful village overlooking the sea, then Numana, with its tourist port and the State Antiquarium, and then reach Marcelli and the amenities offered by its seaside facilities.
Moving away from the coast we move to Camerano, famous for its mysterious underground maze. On the hill nearby stands the Marian Shrine of Loreto. Continue to the capital of the accordion, Castelfidardo, where you can visit the international museum dedicated to the instrument, until you reach Osimo, to admire its imperial treasures kept in the Town Hall.
